Posted on 17. Aug, 2009 by Nikki C.
COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY
One of the most important image makers for any person is the way we communicate. Communication is the most powerful tool we possess. The most powerful conversation we can have is with ourselves. What I mean is no matter what someone else says about you negative or positive, it doesn’t matter. What matters is what you say to yourself. We all have experienced negative connotations as well as positive connotations, but what you feel and say about yourself and to yourself makes a huge difference.
Here Are 3 Tips When Speaking About Yourself
-
Remember to take the time daily to remind yourself of your positive qualities. Speak the things you desire, not the things you don’t.
-
Surround yourself with people that uplift you and hold you higher. Only believers in you.
-
Last, speak honestly of your accomplishments, be proud of who you are.
Remember the words we speak shape our lives as well as our image. Be mindful of the powerful conversations you have with yourself and other.

How To Create Image Power
Posted on 05. Jul, 2009 by Nikki C.
Imagine being able to increase your paycheck and your credibility with very little effort. This is what happens when you have image power. Have you ever noticed that there are some men and women that look flawless no matter when you see them? They look great regardless of the occasion. You can hand them a last minute invitation to anywhere, and after just a few minutes in their closet, they evolve as if they have planned for every contingency.
Then there’s everyone else.
When dressing for work or your own business, your image must come across believable. When your clothing is out of sync with a business situation, it hurts your chances with clients and colleagues.
If you are like most professional men and women, on at least one occasion you have felt confident in a business casual outfit until you the to the event and find you’re underdressed. If you have ever experienced this feeling, you know it makes it very hard to fit in and communicate comfortably. You might feel awkward and certainly not at your best.
In order to feel confident and project confidence, you must master the four levels of business casual options. Then as situations arise, you will automatically choose the appropriate level of business casual dress. Your wardrobe will then help you make the right impression.
You Will…
· You will have higher self-esteem and feel more confident.
· You will be able to make stronger connections and have more influence over those you meet.
Keep these things in mind, you will be off to a great start.

How Do You Impress Men and Women of Influence?
Posted on 06. May, 2009 by Nikki C.
I was speaking to someone recently about impressing others and being an affluent influence in the business world. This young lady was telling me, no matter what she does she can’t get promoted or she doesn’t get the recognition she deserves.
It made me curious, I asked how do you react or respond to your managers and coworkers. She says she is “Very attentive and she tries to have the answers before they ask the question” I think this is where the problem lies. I suggested that she comes across professional and polite, but not subservient.
Anytime you are seeking the respect and recognition of others try to think as if it is your company. Consider yourself as a confident and influential person within the workplace. Once, you exude a face of confidence, intelligence, and influence among your peers, others will will take your lead.

Working With An Image Consultant
Posted on 18. Feb, 2009 by Nikki C.
Hello Nikki (U.C. Imaging and Apparel).
I wanted to be up front with you. When you mentioned to me the importance of being professionally fitted for my bra, I thought it was a joke. The reason I felt this way, because I never have been professionally fitted for a bra. Oh my goodness, what an wonderful experience. I never imagined being properly fitted by a true profession with tips from “best practices” on putting on the bra to the correct size for my breast, back, and where the straps should align. I am truly grateful to your suggestion for me to get it done and the afternoon was truly a positive memorable experience. The afternoon was also an educational one for me. I am a true advocate to professional bra fitting with your Image consultanting Firm. I am looking forward to the next image enhancement activity. More importantly, my husband William loves my new look! Keep up the great work…..
a Grateful client, Carol D. VanCamp
