How To Build A Solid Foundation
Posted on 04. Sep, 2009 by Nikki C.
Finding The Right Clothes That Fit Is Only Half The Battle

What do I mean by this question? Some women feel if they spend a lot of money on their clothes and their appearance, they have done all they need to do. This is farthest from the truth in my book. When you find the perfect dress, you can’t stop there. You need to make sure the inside looks and feels as good as the outside.
The image and appearance of your clothes and how they look on you can only be as good as the foundation pieces that give them support from underneath. In other words, your undergarments sets the stage and secures the foundation for the outward appearance.

Posted on 22. Aug, 2009 by Nikki C.
Marilyn Monroe, we all know who she is and more importantly we all can recognize her audacious and voluptuous plus size hourglass figure! Marilyn’s sultry looks and classic figure became one the most discussed topics of all times! She was a true hourglass body shape, and most importantly she was a plus size woman!
The hourglass figure, also known as the 8-Frame Shape is a well known and widely desired shape among Hollywood stars. When a woman has an hourglass figure, learning how to dress and accessorize her body to emphasize and enhance her natural curves is essential!
Characteristics of an hour glass figure:
1. A woman with an hour glass figure is that she is normally very curvy and the body is perfectly balanced, top to bottom. There is no mistaking, an hourglass shape is all woman when it comes to her curves!
2. An hourglass figure has a full bust, and a small waist (usually 10 inches smaller than the bust or hip measurements) regardless of weight.
3. A woman with an hourglass figure is fortunate enough to gain weight evenly all over her body.
A woman with an hourglass figure is usually the easiest to shop for.
I believe knowing your correct body shape will make things much easier when it comes to shopping and styling for you.

2 Tips To Look Taller and Thinner
Posted on 03. May, 2009 by Nikki C.
It is amazing how many women would love to look taller and thinner. On the other hand, there are so many women hate their height. As a somewhat tall women myself, I absolutely love my height. However, there are times and situations when I intimidated people around me. Oh well, I guess it happens, but there is nothing I can do it about this point.
If you are one of those women that would love to change your height and your weight, try this on for size. First, to look thinner try wearing vertical designs to lengthen your torso. Second, add monochromatic ensembles to your wardrobe. You can also add medium and dark colors with bright accents near your face.
For Plus Size Women, please avoid anything too tight or too loose or bulky textures. This creates a perception of additional weight and I know this is not the look you are reaching for. Keep these tips in mind, the next time you begin to worry about your height and your weight.
